...And with a deep philosophical question to deliberate on.

If you sleep with someone else in your own bed, kiss that person, are turned on or aroused by that person during the course of the night into the morning - and then the next day do not want to see that person again ever again - is it a one night stand?

Also, I am neither party in this inquery since I'm sure that will influence your decision making in said bed.

I say it is - teh Google defines a "one night stand" as:

a brief sexual encounter lasting only for a single night; "he ran through a series of loveless one-night stands"

A "sexual encounter" defines itself - and encounter of a sexual nature - all that leaves is to define "sex."  Again from teh Google:

arouse: stimulate sexually; "This movie usually arouses the male audience"

And there you have it.  Now granted, I can imagine some saying that the parties involved didn't perform the act of "getting down with your bad self" and therefore it doesn't count.  But I think that the definition of sex is inclusive rather than exclusive - ranging from getting turned on or aroused all the way up to all of the nasty, gross things people think up.  There could be varying degrees of "one night stands," and if that's true this most certainly would classify itself as the lowest level, but it's still got to qualify.  So I'm saying "One Night Stand."
